When facilities are excellent in the bus station, the service was very bad. The service desk people was inpatient for answering questions from us. We were first time in Taiwan and kind of frustrated with the delayed flight. We expected to get our questions answered by the bus service personnel.

When we were there before 10:30pm and tried to buy 10:40 tickets to Taichung, we were told that we would have to take 11:30 bus. But I noticed that the 10:40 bus was only half seats taken. I asked bus driver and station staff to let us in to take two of these empty seats. Unfortunately they refused my request. I were very unhappy with their behavior.

Also noted that you can not use 悠游卡 to take the bus here. You have to buy tickets individually.
