Great connection between airport terminal 1&2 and cities. Surprised the purple colour train matches with China Airlines. Clean, Bright, disability friendly 😁
The MRT at the airport arrives on time, and there are toilets in the MRT. Another small detail is that the MRT seats have headgear (bonus points for hygiene👍)
Super convenient! Plenty of airport lounges if you have status. If not, food court has plenty of options. (Yes, a Starbucks)
Passing security and custom was a breeze w eGate. Self service walk thru with photo recognition. ( just press your passport face down, then photo recognition, followed by finger ID recognition).
Well thought out design with kids areas, prayer room, a library (no kidding!) , meaningful exhibition displays. ( animate, cultural, animal/ birds conservation). See photos.

they are doing a big expansion, and some of the stores are still under construction. If you are a smoker like my hubby, you will find it a bit annoying with only 2 smoking area , one at each terminal.
World class airport that serves at the heart of Asia. Immigration services are rapid, fully streamline, and the staff are courteous. Even the screening process are quick and pleasant. During the time of pandemic, only the stores surrounding the operating gates are open. Many of the in-airport "attractions" aren't operational. Make sure youbare fully fed beforehand as most restaurants are still closed.
Super efficient run airport. The bathroom is so clean it really a pleasure to use it. The flow is so smooth as always. Gates are full of stuff for kids to play.
This terminal is huge and nice one! Looks mainly huge flag carriers use this terminal. The place is modern and clean so you can use bathroom and other facilities with no worries! They take care of us customer so friendly! You can have good local foods and buy good souvenirs after security gate! The point which is very fun is their waiting floor! Each waiting places have originally decorated like traditional show room!! It’s so great! I want to use this airport again! Enjoy your trip!!
