A very atmospheric and cultural enlightening street with 7 different mosques to explore along an open street no more than 1km.
Cost 180EGP. Quite a lot of narrative on the history of the place. Worth the ticket price.
Start from Bab Zuweila is best to soak in the vibes of old Islamic Cairo.
Best of all, it is away from the maddening traffic with only occasional tuk tuk and motorbikes passing by. Also a lot less harassment from street vendors with "one dollar" offers.

If you like antiques and souvenirs and golden traditional accessories you should definitely go there, it's a whole market full of them. There is very nice cafés and some shows here and there, a man with long legs, tanora dancing, a man with a hawk and cotton candy in a cute shapes, you can take your kids with you.
Historical wise? You might visit other locations for full satisfaction, the place is perfect for hanging out and souvenir shopping.

Great atmosphere For me I like old vintage places, and Elmuizz street gave me this vibes. I suggest this place to anyone from now on.
You can start your visit from the first point called Bab al Futuh and walk all the to this Old Market, during walk you can see old Mosques, Building, Resturants and , Perfumes , cloth shops etc.
It is a huge market , when you reach at the end on your left there are many more mosque (Hazart Hussain R.A) and other historic places are there ,Also, Khane Khalel Market is adjecent to that market.
Its prefered you take uber and start walk from Bab Futuh .
Tip: Avoid eating near Hussain R.A Mosque or near Khane E Khalil. Resturants food are taste less.

Lovely and lively street of old Islamic Cairo (fatimid, memluk and ottoman), shops and restaurants carry the essence. Different places to visit along the street from azhar to bab al fetouh gate. Suitable for families. No parking, no cars. Best place to park in Al darasa public garage. Few minutes walk from the street
it's Your best choice if you seeking a nice walk in a very old & historical place .. this street is the one!
