Classic interior design and furnishing. Menu options of both tasting menu and a la carte. Broad collection of wines.

Outstanding meal in a spectacular venue. A once in lifetime meal in a place where the Michelin chef came to our table to talk to us. The restaurant is located in an historical place and we had a great table. It was not overcrowded and we had a nice leisurely meal. Definitely one of the best meals I ever had or probably ever will have.

Our whole experience was excellent!

We were right 20 minutes late for our reservation due to a traffic accident (not us), but the staff was happy to accommodate us.

All the staff was very friendly and welcoming, even the head waiter who teased me when I tried to order a prosecco - "Madam! This is France, we have champagne here!"

My friend and I did the 6 plate tasting menu and enjoyed everything. Personally I thought the star of the meal was the seabass quenelle - I never would have chosen it on my own, but I'm so glad it was included because it was delicious! (Like a super fluffy rich gefilte fish)

While other Michelin started restaurants are more modern and artsy I really enjoyed the classic feel of this place and the history in the decor. It was refined but felt relaxed.

10/10 would recommend 👍
Wow! This restaurant deftly deserve 1 Michelin star ✎! The food was superb! Classic French elevated to the sky!

We went for the tasting menu, 9 courses without the wine pairing, yet we had only 3 glasses and each of them was outstanding!

Each plate was excellent presented, portions were actually big for a Michelin star restaurant and they taste simply Divine!

Really really good! Each mouthful was a dance of endless flavours playing with your palate, taste and eye! We absolutely loved it!

Thank you!

#13 on my challenge of trying every Michelin Star in Paris. Follow me to see them all.
Porthos would be hosting d’Artagnan with his finest classical dishes here. Actually, I think I saw him!

Perfect place if you want classical French cuisine made to perfection. The quenelle au champagne is simply amazing. The atmosphere manages to be the right amount of old school with the typical étoilé service (which I love) and the chef with a strong and likable character (our Porthos figure) who worked at La Tour d Argent (and Meilleur ouvrier de France!).
There are only a few restaurants in Paris where you can enjoy the classism at its best, so enjoy! Personally this restaurant reminds me of my father and grandfather, where you needed to be a great “saucier” (sauce maker) to be a man!
There’s a voiturier which can be a plus from some.

The crowd was friends and family. I also spotted some other chefs (and restaurants owners) which is always a good indicator of the quality and the renowned amongst its pair. Perfect for family, a business lunch with an educated foodie. Also perfect for a date if your darling loves the 3 musketeers! Which is my case. The warning for a date, it’s this restaurant is about classical food not fashionable. And this is why we love it.

Solid (very solid) one star

UPDATE 2022:
Went back a year after. Still a place where Chefs come here when they want a great classical meal made to perfection. Even the second time, the quenelles (see photos and videos) were to die for. A lot of « habituĂ©s » (regular customers). Actually, there’s a family feeling.
Definitely a great address.
After trying every Michelin stars in one year, I have to admit that it’s more than a solid one star.
It’s your friendly family top tiers one star

Good experience, although far from outstanding. I were asked to arrive 15 minutes early and when we arrived the restaurant was closed. It opened soon after but we had to wait outside till they were ready to receive us. Food was very good, interesting and innovative, but somehow did not fulfill all my expectations. Service was close to perfect. Better lighting would improve a lot the ambience. Overall very good, but not excellent.

Such a top level experience from start to finish. Each dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection and I was very happy to experience some classic French dishes in this place. The interior is soothing and intimate, and the service is attentive and polite. The wine recommendations by the staff were extraordinary, they played perfectly with the food.

I went here with my friend for lunch. Excellent everything!!! Everyone was very friendly and the food is perfect. wine pairing was fantastic.

I came back in 2023.
This time for dinner. We had the suprise menu with 6 dishes. We ordered wine separately and didn't ask for pairing. We had a great experience. Everyone was very attentive and nice and the chef came out to greet us. We had such a lovely time. The food was of course amazing as usual. The staff recommended wines that paired really well with the dishes. We are glad we were able to get in a last minute reservation for dinner.
