That was a working day when we decided to visit this museum. unfortunately that was closed. no sign on the entrance, no security and nobody answered our call. we checked some websites related to Tehran museums and finally understand it is closed for construction.
I dont know why they did not inform on media.

This place is good & Nice place in the center of the city ... worth to visit definetly

The days of visiting this museum are from 9 to 17 every day (except for mourning and mourning days). Museum of painting behind the glass
The Iran Glass Painting Museum is the world's first glass painting museum and is the only independent museum dedicated to one of the branches of art. The museum includes a huge collection of glass-backed items from the Safavid era to the present.
The building where this museum is located is one of the oldest houses in Tehran belonging to the late Dr. Siavash Shaghaghi, who is one of the doctors who have been diagnosed with pulmonary diseases. After the death of Dr. Shaghaghi, this house was handed over to another person by Heritage and in 1995, the entire collection To the cultural and artistic organization of the municipality of Tehran, after being rebuilt in 1377, the Sun was entrusted to the Cultural Heritage by a treasure trove of works of painting behind the glass from the municipality of Tehran. In the winter of 2010, at the discretion of the vice president and head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, it was transferred to the Libertarian Branch for some time; it was shut down for some time because of repairs and executive work. Now the museum has been re-opened with other artists with its abilities and goals.
The museum has a very beautiful and historic location, and besides the glass-framed paintings in the museum, you will enjoy the museum's own architecture and its architecture. I would recommend to tourists visiting Tehran and its historic buildings.

A fantastic display of a wonderful indigenous glass paintings by contemporary as well master painters. The technique evolved on a parallel path in Iran and has become its own Genre mixing traditional scenery and poses with the western oriented art form. The museum does a great job of displaying the art without clutter. I found the pair of chairs on display to be one of the most unique pieces of furniture I’ve ever seen. The vibrancy of colors was surprising given the standard regional pallet. Parking is available on the street to but the museum is the inside traffic control zone. There is a Cafe on the grounds which is well designed and decorated but unfortunately the food and service are below par.

if you are appreciating art one then you will enjoy it.
