Cannery Row

Great place for the family. There are tons of shops and restaurants. Beautiful oceanscapes. Parking is easy to find at the right time of day.

I wish I had taken pictures. For the pricing, AREA, and hype of this place, I expected a better presentation. After our meal, my daughters and I went to the beach to relax. Mind you, it was next to the pier upon which some restaurants do businesses. After a few moments of being there, I noticed raw sewage being leaked onto the beach. I also saw this one restaurant drop "water" through the wooden floor onto the beach. Not once but a few times in the short time that we were there. This leads me to believe that it might be a sink or some type of water disposal. Still is raw sewage.

Love the atmosphere of this area. There is something for everyone here. Food, shopping, Waterside views, and music.

Lots of cute little shops, restaurants, a beach, and the Monterey Bay aquarium! You can spend hours here just browsing the shops, and trying all the gummy food from crepes, to cinnamon rolls, pastries and baklava, to Italian delis, and sea food galore. McAbee Beach is small, and even smaller during high tide, but if you are lucky enough to be there at low tide you will be sure to spot hermit crabs, sea anomie, and maybe some fish swimming around.

Fun place to go. Spent time with Charli and great lunch. Plenty of places to eat...this restaurant has dog menu-Louie Linguini's!

What a great place to enjoy energy, food and all the stores. Great weather to be out. Must go. Dog friendly and have a menu created just for them fur babies at Louie Linguini's! Delicious Tangerine Beer from Yreka to try.

We decided to visit Cannery Row in Monterey Bay, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The area is brimming with exciting activities and a wide variety of stores to explore. While parking can be a bit challenging, there are ample spots available outside of the parking structure. If you prefer not to pay for all-day parking, there are many places where you can park for free for up to one hour.

Cannery Row boasts an impressive selection of restaurants, offering something for every palate. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by the multitude of people who were clearly enjoying their day in the area. For an extra treat, I highly recommend taking the Highway One route, as it offers breathtaking scenery on the way to Monterey, if you have the opportunity to do so.

Initially, we had planned to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. However, we arrived near closing time and decided to take a leisurely stroll around Cannery Row instead. It turned out to be a fantastic choice, as we discovered the numerous attractions it had to offer. I wholeheartedly recommend Cannery Row to anyone seeking a delightful experience and a breath of fresh air.
