When arriving, my first thought was, okay its a desert with desert plants and Cactus. I've been there, done that. However, after going into the visitor center, I left with a whole new attitude and appreciation for I was about to witness. Our trip through the National Park was cut short due to private matters, so I am short on photos, but the park is an interesting and educational experience. I highly recommend going through the visitor center and taking the time to look at the exhibits.

We go to Joshua Tree at least once a year, often with visitors to our home. It never ceases to amaze. It's an amazing place and lots of fun.

Amazing natural park. The landscape is magnificent and interesting. There are so many species of plants that you can spend hours. The rocks are so astonishing. All that makes this place exciting and relaxing at the same time.

Nice visitor center with ranger that explained everything to us, gave us some tips and shared interesting facts about the Joshua Tree national park. Also you can buy some souvenirs in here.

Amazing views!! Park was very clean as well as the restrooms! Lots of parking options and pull outs! 5 Stars!!! We have Annual National Park Pass, but entry fee is $30 per vehicle!

We LOVED the park, but staff were kinda rude, and clueless in the visitor center. More interested about chatting with each other and leaving post while we were clearly standing there waiting for help. Inappropriate for sure. Had to repeat our request THREE times... don't think our Seattle accent was the problem. This did NOT reflect on the ladies at the cash register who were on point and helpful. Get the fresh lemonade next door... really good!

This is a beautiful park! It's extremely large. You can't see it all in a day or even in a week. It has many lovely vistas! And there are some great little picnic spots too. I didn't camp here but it's definitely worth camping here for a day or two.
