Salem Lake

I didn't get very far on the main trail because of the heat but it was beautiful and lots of shade the direction we walked always great to be around gorgeous nature and right at the water. Unfortunately there are clearly a lot of nasty people leaving their trash and fishing lines all over. Aside from me and my furbabies getting caught on some line (thankfully I have to use a cane when I walk or I probably would have face planted) we enjoyed briefly exploring the trail, water line, and off trail beauty of nature. I hope we get to return one day when it is cooler. There is a handicap parking space, bathrooms, dog waste stations and many trails off the main trail from the short distance I was able to get to. I'm not sure if there are any benches further down the trail but there are natural benches aka down trees if you need to rest.

Just a lovely place to walk, ride or run

Great place to run, walk with or without your dog, bike, and you can also canoe in the lake. Polite people. Very peaceful and beautiful
