Nice park. Great walking trails. Nice picnic area. Has water fountain for both humans and pets. Clean restrooms.
I come here occasionally for a nice nature walk. The park system really does an excellent job keeping the path clear. Really a nice park for Lorain County residents to enjoy.
Runners perspective only: I use High Meadows as an entrance to the inland coast trail, usually opting to start my run at Cascade park, head up the road to Ford, and then onto the trail. Path is wide and scenery is great with plenty of wildlife. This is by far my favorite place to run locally. Metroparks are beautiful

We like to bike there and take a picnic lunch.
The trail used to be around 6 miles one way. With the new extension is around 9 which makes a nice distance for us. Love the new part, is flat, easy ride and beautiful.

A nice park for biking and some walking, didn’t think it was the best for a stroller or wagon with a toddler... the location lends it to being quite windy and the noise from the traffic overwhelmed my son. They do have a playground that has slides suitable to toddlers which is great.
Wonderful fall colors at the reservation today. Great place to get out any time of the year to get out and connect with the wilderness any time of the year.
Beautiful park. I want to finish the trail next time.
