we had a round trip from Lisbon-Phily-Orlando for a family reunion for new years eve in economy, timely and good service, upgraded on the way back Fantastic! Kudos. The boarding on the Phily-Lisbon could improve a little, the special assistance was delayded and the AA officials could had responded prompply

As many people have said before, American Airlines is infamous for bad customer service. When I flew American my flight was delayed by 4 hours. Unlike many other airlines that either provide food vouchers, hotel rooms, etc. American Airlines provides just a refund if you decide not to fly. Horrible airline.

On my flight out I check my luggage since it is free as the flight is full. Airline took an hour to get checked luggage to pickup area. In my return flight I wanted to just carry on the bag as it was small enough. Employee refused to allow me to bring the bag on board. As I get on board the Airline advertises it has “new larger overhead storage”.

If you could put negative stars, it would still be too much. My son bought 4 tickets and spent to full days at the airport to try and come home for Christmas. 1st, they changed policy on service animals and did not send an email to inform him. Kept him and the dog at airport saying they were going to get him out. Then no. Said they were going to make good on ticket. Sent him a ticket w/no seat assignment, then gave away his seat. He bout a ticket 3 more times. They gave him a boarding pass, he waited 6 hours for the plane, then they said his boarding pass was no good because of credit card. Again he called credit card, there was no problem. The airline had his birthday wrong at one point. He had multiple addresses, because he has had multiple addresses with unforseen life changes. Hogwash. Horrible airlines.

This has been my go-to airline for many years now. They have always exceeded my expectations and offered me great value for my money. There are plenty of budget carriers that could save me a dime however I feel the service makes the price very fair.

If I could give 0 stars I would. WORST CHECK IN. The workers just walk away with no answers and leave you hanging. We had to go to a different worker behind the desk who actually knew something. Bad bad bad. They changed my flight and didn’t even care about it. Worst customer service. I will not be flying with american again. Horrible experience. I also must say the workers were very rude and racist towards us as well. Every time we asked a question they were extremely rude to us and didn’t answer. Not professionally at all.

Hello, I flew out of American 11/14 to Green Bay for a yearly family Hunting trip. Carrie at the ticketing counter was beyond Amazing. She showed a real desire to help get me there with my luggage even though one of my checked bags was missing a lock and locking point at one area that I didn’t realize. She took the time to find me her own personal lock to help me when I really needed it. Her compassion is an uncommon trait I don’t see often here in Orlando and some of the other bigger airports especially. American Airlines should be proud to have an employee who projects such a great attitude and work ethic especially with the high stress job she has. Thank you again and am an American Airlines customer for life.
