The few events I've been there, for some odd reason I get amazing sleep there ...hahahaha
As an individual who has been following the Magnolia Tree Earth Center's renovation process closely, I must say that I am extremely irritated at the lack of communication from the center and the general public. The complete lack of updates and information has left me feeling frustrated and confused about the reasons behind the ridiculously long renovation time frame.
It is beyond me how an organization with such an important mission could fail so miserably in keeping its supporters and the public informed about its progress. With each passing month, my frustration only grows, and it is not helped by the fact that the center seems to be dragging its feet on getting the project completed.
Furthermore, I am deeply dissatisfied with the current use of the center. It is simply unacceptable that such an important space, which is meant to serve as a hub for environmental education and community engagement, is sitting idle and unutilized. This is a disservice to the community, especially given the pressing environmental challenges we face today.

Magnolia tree Earth center is a community-based center right in the middle of bed Stuyvesant. They just celebrate 80 women that just came to this country. You can also rent out space at Magnolia's for a reasonable price
This is a Historikal & Landmark legacy of an Afrakan Woman, Hattie Carthan, who D'voted Her life to TAKING KARE OF THE TREE(s) & LAND in Bed-Stuy (BKLYN) for the Children & future generations. She was a puoneer in this regards and stood out amongst environmentalists in the kare that She gave to the land. Much of this Brooklyn kommunity has trees & flowers due to Miss Hattie, who was affectionately known as The Tree Lady...due to Her luv of Magnolia Tree, which sits proudly on the main house of the land. The Magnolia E.T.C. is regularly used by kommunity & nation Builders for a multitude of events for self'developmeant & Self'empowermeant of the Afrakan kommunity. Its also a Non-profit so U kan make tax deductible donations👑👑👑👑👑👑👑

Definitely a staple in the community. I recommend this space. It’s beautiful. A group of us planned a game night and a Kwanzaa event here and also a dance class. All were a success. We will definitely continue to use this space for events.
Like the inside setting it is great for intimate events with a 3 part partitioned upper area. Could have many uses. Very welcoming.
