The Papery

I walked into the store and started looking around, while i was browsing the two employees in the store were talking, continued talking, didn't even acknowledge me. I don't spend money at stores that don't have good customer service, was very weird and seemed almost rude considering it was only me in the store, they just continued talking while i turned and walked out.

Wonderful staff, beautiful and sweet gifts for sale. I love going here for neat gift ideas.

They have Pip stickers!!!! Very cool to be able to grab a sheet quick in person (impulsively!).

Otherwise it's a lovely store with unique gifty finds. Was severely tempted by the puzzles and adorable funny socks, but the prices were a tad too high for me to bite (not too high for everyone, they were still making sales!)

I was wishing for a wider variety of hand printed paper, but they had a couple of styles available.

Lovely shop, will stop in again.

The Papery is a fun shop at the corner of Bank and Fifth. It has been open for years now and sells all sorts of interesting things. From cards to calligraphy pens and paper, puzzles, party supplies, and lots of interesting curios that would make any celebration special. This has always been my go-to store to check every now and then for interesting curios or fun cards. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Glebe.

Wonderful stationary and art store, very cozy vibe, friendly staff who enjoy thier jobs. Lots of cute gifts and curios, a great gift store. Building keeps elements of the original antique architecture, making for a pretty interior, and a fun shopping experience.

I give up buy in this disrespectful place and not recommend anyone. They din't let me enter with my husband, our baby and toddler because their terrible customer treatment even with less restrictions on Covid in Ottawa they decide keep customer doesn't matter with desabilies or young children waiting in lines to enter their store and once inside the store they disturbing the shopping experience obligating to follow just sides and orders of their seller's associates. Be logical covid doesn't follow lines or sides if they don't trust vaccination and health guidelines should close their physical stores. Definitely isn't a real care against COVID but a clear show that they just wanna clients money without worrying in client's well being and respect.

Amazing store! Obviously they have loads of interesting cards for literally any occasion, but you can also find puzzles, painting supplies, fun party items, quality notebooks, calendars, ribbons, lux wrapping paper, colourful envelopes, and many gift items. Their seasonal items are also something to look forward to, especially before Christmas.

Great location on Bank. Local business with some very helpful staff. The price are a bit high, but the quality is there.
