Visit carried out at the end of November. Before boarding, I was warned that the space was only open for walking and that there would be no shops open (hence the 3 stars). If the goal is to get to know the region and see the around, it's worth it. If you are visiting during the winter, be prepared with water and some snacks. It's worth seeing Toronto's buildings from another angle.

Great tourist stop in downtown Toronto. We took the early morning ferry and it was perfect timing with the sunrise which was amazing! There is a Tim Hortons right across the street on the way to the terminal. Lovely morning, sunrise coffee and ferry ride to Toronto Islands. Don’t pay until they make you. We went at a time that school kids were boarding for the day and they were not checking tickets. So $18 wasted for us. Just walk through and see if they stop you or not lol

Wonderful place to visit, have a picnic, go to the beach or even take some quiet end relaxed moments. The view of Toronto from The Islands is magnificent, no wonder it serves as postcard photos.

Gets pretty busy on weekends. It’s fun and enjoy the best views of Toronto from the ferry. Get a bike before getting on the ferry because it’s most likely to sell out here. There’s a long way to walk so I prefer to have a bike or a bicycle with you. You can enjoy the swings, parks and beaches here.

Amazing place to hang out with family or friends for a day. It’s just well maintained and clean that you can sit anywhere and spend your time. I went on a weekday so it wasn’t as busy as weekends. Loved the farm where I was able to see the animals. Food is a bit expensive so I’ll recommend to bring your own food.

Toronto Island Ferries takes you to Toronto Island Park which comprises of several islands, including Ward’s Island, Centre Island and Hanlan’s Point. We took the ferry to Centre Island which is more popular among tourists . The time taken by ferry to reach this picturesque location was around 15 min. We travelled on a weekday so it was not overly crowded. The ride is very reasonable,(Adult $9.11 , which kids / youth also get discount prices of circa 50/40 % respectively. You may book tickets online or buy on site.
The ferry rides gives you a beautiful view of downtown, CN centre, seaplanes landing on water etc. Before taking the ride, we bought coffee and had a great ride on top. park in itself is awesome . You are welcomed by seagulls, swans, peacocks( including white peacock), horses, mules etc. The park has many trees, some of them have typical maple leaves 🍁 (I loved these trees 🤩) and some which are exactly like Christmas tree(🎄). Lots of fun activities and rides for kids, though some rides for day visitors are extremely expensive. There are many lakes as well and stand for watching migratory birds. Many restaurants allow you to have delicious meals while on the island. Overall a very well spent day.

Loved the experience. Didn't expect a 9 CAD round trip to be so rewarding. Attaching both the day and night photos of the skyline from the Ferry. The Centre Island beach which is a few minutes away from where the Ferry drops you is also a hidden gem.
