A nice getaway space for cycling/jogging. You can do bird watching. You can rent city bikes here but they have limited numbers of bikes. Alternatively, you can rent a quadracycle at the gate.

Be aware of ticks and mosquitoes. Carry a spray with you.

Wonderful place... But why not clean up the shorelines for some swimming?

It's an incredible location for anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature and the diversity of birdlife. We were fortunate to spend a memorable two hours there, immersing ourselves in the surroundings. Not only did we see large fish gliding through the water, but we were also delighted by the sight of geese and swan families, especially the young swan chicks trailing behind their parents. It's truly a haven for wildlife enthusiasts.

Opened during the summer on the weekends when it's a nice day out.

Staff showcase animals found at the spit. Great for kids.

Look up! There's also many birds nest right at the lighting.

A beautiful place where nature is starting to retake over. But they really need to clean the beaches up. Not dog friendly because the wildlife here is not used to domesticated animals. A bird flew right beside where we were sitting and ate a bug infront of us. Also I saw a majestic looking swan and various ducks in the marshes. Don't feed the animals here. The rest rooms are only near the entrances. This place is best traveled on bicycles or electric scooters.

My favourite trail in whole GTA for biking, walking and running. So beautiful and close to nature with beautiful Toronto skyline view . Highly recommended.

Be ready for long walk if not on bike.

Needless to say, very beautiful in spring and summer. Can enjoy green and sea together. Wonderful sunset into the skyline of Toronto.

Bring a bike, btw, or be prepared for a very long walk.
