Hello Pierozek, My girlfriend is Polish but I like the food very much. We came from Tampa and you were on a very short list of restaurants to visit in NYC. This was (by far) the best food we had during out 8 day stay. I cannot believe how good the sausage and pierogis were. We ordered three plates. She said the Galumpkis were just as good I just don't like cabbage. You have an amazing restaurant and if we get the chance to come back we certainly will. It was a pleasure dining here. Oh our service was super amazing too. Thanks again.

If you want some legit Polish food with all the right flavors definitely check out Pierozek! sooo Yummy :) We visited at the beginning of 2024 during the week, around 3PM for late lunch. There was no wait and we got seated right away (party of 3). I did notice the place started filling up closer to 5PM so idk how crowded it gets closer to dinner. I tried Barszcz - strong, yummy flavors, deep red color - definitely the real deal and the seasoning was spot on! A cup of barszcz from Pierozek is a perfect remedy for cold weather, flu season and just overall feeling blah - it warms you up and makes you feel soo good and healthy :) Sauerkraut and mushroom Krokiety were my favorite - they were fluffy, amazing flavors and I seriously want to try to recreate them at home since we are not local and I am craving them right now. I had many krokiety in my life and make them at home at least a couple times a year but Pierozek has some secret recipe that makes them perfectly fluffy (which btw is not that easy when using sauerkraut since they can easily become dense and wet). The ratio of crepe to filling was perfect. My husband tried meat krokiety - also yum. We also tried pierogi - I had Jalapeno pierogi that had a great little jalapeno punch and yummy delicate pierogi dough. My husband tried the Savory Pierogi mix and Cheddar ones were his favorite. The menu has something for everyone from vegan, vegetarian, gluten free through meat heavy dishes and polish beer. I highly recommend it!

it was busy when i entered, so i opted for the patio seating although it was 37°F because i just wanted to eat. the server i had was very kind and nice - he turned the heater on and recommended the Murray’s Cheese Pierogi to me and i enjoyed that one a lot.
unfortunately, i think being the only person on the patio caused me to be forgotten a little. it did take quite a while for my initial order to be taken, but the food did arrive quickly after the fact. the raspberry and sweet cheese pierogi was not my favorite - the cheese had a gritty texture that i did not agree with. it seems to be a strange combination of flavors, coupled with the fact the sweet cream tastes kind of like sour cream. i would probably return and try other things, and hopefully there would be a table inside available.

Hands down the best pierogi I’ve ever had. The potato filling tastes like my grandmas krumplis tzesta. Can’t believe I didn’t get the kielbasa… will definitely go back on my next trip to nyc.

Unbelievable experience. Very welcoming, the food is out of this world authentic. If you know about pierogis, you know this is the closest thing you’ll find to pierogis from Poland. The manager welcomes you with a smile, and checks on you throughout your time there. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast and professional. Best place around!

Wonderful little Polish restaurant in Brooklyn offering pierogis and other Polish classics in a casual neighborhood setting. The menu is pierogi-focused, but has other equally delicious choices as well. Service is very informal with a family-run feel, but they work hard to meet your needs, although it can run slowly at peak times. Atmosphere is casual and basic, but the outdoor patio is a gem on nice days. Great option for a casual lunch and a beer if you are in the area.

I didn’t know pierogis could be this tasty 😋 Super affordable. Drinks are also very affordable (weekday happy hour is 2-for-1 beer and wine and $2 shots !) The drink menu is very vodka forward but they also have some beer and wine.
The interior is nice and they have a lovely back patio
