Festive afternoon tea as a New Years Day treat. Highly attentive staff - yet at the same time you were left alone to enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the food. Sat right by the window of the veranda - it was a rainy day but the twinkling lights in the garden kept it festive. You do not leave hungry - there is so much food!

A first class experience all the way around. The Goring has a royal warrant and has long been known as a favorite of the royal family and it is easy to see why. The food and service was top notch, and the tea room overlooking the garden makes it feel like you are no longer in central London. If you are looking for a spot for a proper British tea, The Goring should be first on your list.
