Spacious and great natural light

A beautiful, spacious library with multiple wings that, thankfully, separate the lively kids section from the other sections. In the atrium area there’s a large amount of tables for reading or studying and the WiFi is pretty good.

The only downside that I encountered is that they don’t offer study rooms for one person. To use a room you have to have two or more participants, so I had to take a meeting in the atrium area. Not a huge issue but the book carts being pushed back and forth are loud and squeaky.

Overall, a nice library, but I'm not sure if this is my preferred public library.

As mentioned by another patron's review, there aren't many study rooms/booths. I think I've only counted a single meeting room (for 2-6 people) and 4 booths and an open quiet area in the back with a couple of open tables and seats.

The environment of the library is great and, while it does have some notable selections, I feel that a lot of materials I'm looking for are only available through ILL networks (Nassau Libraries) and online services (such as Libby).

It’s a nice library just wish there was more tables and study spots. If you don’t come in time all the tables in the quiet area are taken. They really should bring in more study tables. And there are not a lot of outlets available for those with laptops
