Wanted to have a croissant from French cafe and found here. Wanted to have a plain croissant but it was sold out.. I’ve had Smoked Chicken Croissant instead and it was A-MAZING!! It was the best savoury croissant I’ve ever had! I will definitely come back to get croissants from here:))

Their baguettes are so good and made fresh. The classic with Brie, ham, butter and salad is mouth watering. The baguette is perfectly toasted and the crunch is perfection. Well worth a visit.

Quaint little cafe on the corner of High and Normanby. I'm surprised by the previous reviews about lack of service as I had a great experience on a Friday morning. Between 4 we ordered 3 x sweet crêpes and 1 omelette. The omelette was loadddded and you have to pay 3 diff prices for extras, so be mindful of this as you're building it.

Coffee was good, I ordered a strong oat latte. Not the oat milk I'd normally have, but still hit the spot. In terms of atmosphere, there is outdoor and indoor seating in front so caters to Melbourne's weather conditions! Would go back to try their croque options.

Below average food. The croissant and pain au chocolat were not crispy, felt like old pastries. The galette was too fried. This could be the reason why the chef do not fold the galette the usual way. Only eaten half of the steak baguette. As a Frenchman, it feels like the cafe is trying to rip off Aussies by selling bad food at a high price using the French reputation.
My favorite place to enjoy a galette. Their galettes were always heartly cooked and they offer a wide range of toppings to choose. Any hot and cold drinks with Chantilly cream were the best; a must to order. Prices match the food quality.

We came for breakfast on a weekday morning and the place empty. The server was very nice and helpful on some of the more popular items. The kitchen wasn't quite ready to open yet, but the chef quickly prepared himself and we were able to order within a couple of minutes. We had a baguette and a crepe. The bread and the ham were delicious. The baguette itself was soft inside and crusty on the outside. Lovely. We also had a lemon and sugar crepe. The crepe was a bit gluey though and tasted a little like onion. Maybe the grill was used to cook something else beforehand. Very cute decor.
