Baja has an amazing selection of clothes ranging of a ton a brands, he also carries bigger sizes of said brands, 2xl shirts and 38-44 waisted shorts and pants, big man friendly. You will get an awesome conversation too 10/10 spot.

Plenty of summers in OB3. Lots of "surf shops" down there. When I return home for a visit Baja East is a must stop for my family. Always gracious and kind. Everyone in St Charles Missouri always asks us about our surf wear.

I wanted a new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and was happy to find a pair i liked at this store. Guy working there was great and it was a pleasure to pay a tad more to support this local shop. And the product is authentic from Italy, not the cheap versions from China. Had a great experience on my vacation, will remember this place when we return.

Since my original review (below, posted around June/July 2022) I bought a full wetsuit in the Fall of 2022. And most recently in June 2023 I purchased an Odysea 7 foot board (both with Matt). I really enjoy dealing with these guys. They take the time to understand what I need and explain the product thoroughly. We need more business owners like them in this wild world. Our family has been going here for years. I can always find exactly what what I'm looking for. 1st time using a local surf shop since early 90s. I needed swim fins and was getting annoyed with amazon and other online shops. Googled local shops and went to the one with best reviews. Owner was very knowledgeable, I got a crash course in history to get up to speed on the topic. Selection was fantastic including sizes and colors, prices appeared to be equal or less than online shops. I'll be hopefully doing more business with them in the future. Nice to experience small business etiquette and sit down to try things on. 100% satisfied with visit.
