I have had to come back to Oregon just for this waterfall, two years ago when I planned my trip to Oregon I was looking to follow the seven wonders of Oregon but unfortunately for that dates the waterfall were closed due the fires but I comeback the last year and have enjoyed the visit.

Best place to visit in oregon. So beautiful and the hike is worth the view you get at the top.

Multnomah Falls is a waterfall located in the Columbia River George, between Corbett and Dodson, Oregon. This is the tallest waterfall in Oregon at 620 ft in height and is considered as second tallest year-round waterfall in the United States by the United States Forest Service. It has an amazing view and a bridge that connects the trail where people can stand, take pictures, and enjoy the top view. This waterfall attract over two million visitors each year, making it the most-visited natural recreation site in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. Don’t worry about your vehicles as there is a plenty of parking space on the highway exit. To be frank, no one regrets after visiting this place and one should never miss viewing this waterfall.

Beautiful waterfall that was very easy to get to! GoogleMaps brings you directly to the parking lot. The parking lot is pretty big. I went there on a Sunday about 9 am and got a great spot and saw several other spots. You can see the waterfall from the parking lot, can’t really miss it. You pretty much walk from the parking lot to across the street for barely a stroll and you will arrive. There’s a nice inn, restaurant, and gift shop there. It wasn’t too hard to get good pictures of the waterfall and pictures of you in front of the waterfall when we were there. If you take a short hike, you can get up to the bridge. It was probably a 0.25 mile hike with a little elevation. The view/picture is still best from the bottom though.

You park free at the Multnomah parking lot and you are 2 minutes walk away from magic, beautiful high falls and the hike to the bridge is easy and fast, there was a fire there not long ago and sadly it is noticed

Amazing water falls just by the roadside on Southern bank of Columbia River. Mystic mist, beautiful sound of falling water, close enough to feel the majestic experience. A must stop for to admire this amazing falls. Hiking up the trail would have been a great experience. However, it was closed during our stop here.
Besides the falls the tourist center offers educational information and the gift shopping has literally hundreds of souvenirs. The viewing terrace is perfectly placed for the entire experience.

One of the tallest falls in this area. Almost 560 ft and then a step down falls of about 150 ft. It will be even more beautiful with more water flowing in Jan or Feb.
Though there is restriction to hike more to have a closer it is still worth a visit.
This is a historic place too and well maintained.
