Such an iconic edifice, built (I just looked up) in 1959! Things like this wouldn't be built now I'm afraid.

Landmark surrounded by a beautiful area with cafe's, shops, restaurants and a beach to go for a walk after too much food or to walk the dog.

This tower really lives up to its name. It's a clock tower and it's located in Blackrock. Would recommend to anyone seeking out a clock tower experience in Black Rock

Gorgeously retro landmark. There's a great park for kids nearby as is Black Rock beach which is fantastic. Lots of great little shops nearby.
Nice beach with restaurants around so you can eat after you swim or sun bath. There's also a public toilet.

This is the turnaround point for most bike rides that go down Beach Road. Many of the rides that start in Port Melbourne will turn around at the Black Rock clock tower. But often this is just the halfway point for our rides.

When you go for a ride down Beach Road, the most notorious ride in Melbourne, there are number of different landmarks that you will look for out for. If you're ever told to get to Blackrock , this is why they mean.
