A very very beautiful national park. Worth visiting.
Better to go early in the morning or afternoon to see the water color as aqua blue/green. By evening since the sun starts setting in the west, it won't reflect on water and may miss the beauty of this magical place.
Trek route C or H is best as it covers both lower and upper lakes. There are beautiful waterfalls in the upper lakes. It will take a minimum of 6 hrs to cover this route.

Really worth visiting! Fantastic views and really pleasant walk- I recommend taking at least 8km route- it is not tiring and views are amazing. A little downside- there is a lot of people even off-season, the parking is quite busy and you pay it for it additionally.

This is one of those place that you must visit in Europe. The colour of lakes is just magical. You can choose 5 trails on different difficulty level and distance. You can go there with kids but I think that it could be dificult with stroller. On trails you can use a boat or buses (on some stages). There are a lot of stops with toilets and even fast food. On the stop next to the boats there is tap with a water that you can pour to bottle. From the cons: huge crowd. The amount of people is crazy there. The price - 40EUR per person - very expensive. Moreover you must pay for parking, too. It is not included in the ticket price to lakes. You must buy ticket in advance, tickets are sold for particular hours.

Spectacular! The park and the lakes are the Moseley amazing lakes I've ever seen. The color is unreal, the waterfall are stunning. The park is crowded, even early in the morning but very organized. Attention that you also need to pay for parking separately.

Wow. This park is spectacular. The lakes and waterfalls are beautiful and unique. A couple easy options to visit are described in the app. We did trip B, which was about two hours of walking, a boat ride, and a shuttle back near where we started. Must see when visiting Croatia.

Beauty that simply must be seen to truly be understood!

Amazing experience, awe Inspiring views and picturesque water , lakes and waterfalls. .

Did the lower half, sounds like it may be the half to do if you aren't looking for an all day adventure and has the tallest waterfall and view.

Can get crowded, a good local guide can make a big difference

This is one of the rare occasions where I really miss I could give six stars. This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. There are so many incredible spots to look at.
We came on August 13th, in what probably was the busiest weekend of the year. We could only get tickets for 1 PM, and it turned out to be the perfect option for us. We had a copious late breakfast before going to the park, so we could do our visit with just a few light snacks.
We chose to do route H, which is very complete and perfectly doable in an afternoon. The part that I liked the most was the upper lakes part. It was calmer and with a lot of beautiful spots. The lower part was too crowded. Specially the biggest waterfall.
The entrance fee is quite expensive, but after seeing how well preserved this place is, I'm glad I can contribute to that with my entrance fee.
Really, a place not to miss if you visit Croatia. We did quite a detour to come here, and it was worth every km.
