Amazing little theater with super friendly staff and comfy seats. Only about 50 seats though, so I’d recommend buying tickets ahead of time. So far I’ve seen two films here, and I plan to keep coming back.

Very cool small independent cinema that plays movies on film!

Very intimate indie theater. Pretty consistently has interesting programming so check their web presence for offerings. The signs showing you where the physical theater are might be easy to miss.

I love this place. Really. A wide variety of films from classics and cult flicks. Never thought I'd get to see Zodiac or TMNT (the original) on FILM ever again and this place did that for me. Thanks so much volunteers!

IYKYK The Grand Illusion Cinema is the best place to catch a movie in Seattle. 100% volunteer run. One of the last places that still runs film in Seattle.

Cute little theater, great for watching movies on film! Richard was incredibly accommodating and kind when helping me purchase tickets. His customer service went above and beyond!

I came here to see the movie Slotherhouse. It was the best horror spoof I have ever seen. The theater itself has 1920s vibes with red velvet on every surface and stucco ceilings. Comfortable chairs, too. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in ambiance. There is a Mexican restaurant attached to the same patio as the theater entrance. We got food there, which was very tasty. Then we took our beers with us into the theater, which is allowed. The staff are all very nice volunteers. You can tell they enjoy their jobs.
