Shamiana at the Taj JLT is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! The breakfast spread was huge. We also had a surprisingly nice experience for dinner. The chef’s tasting menu is highly recommended and also their interesting cocktails 🍹

Service is impressive too.

Our memorable evening at Shamiana - Taj Jumeirah Lake Towers was graced by the warm hospitality of Pratiksha, who greeted us with kindness and guided us to a table offering views of Sheikh Zayed Road and the Emirates Golf Club. Choosing to savor the winter atmosphere outdoors, our experience was made even more special.

Jhansi, our delightful host, curated an inviting ambiance, making us feel at home throughout our celebration. Kuldeep, our attentive server, added an extra layer of warmth to the evening, ensuring that our needs were met with genuine care.

Commencing our culinary journey with the Burmese Khow Suey Soup, adapted to our vegetarian preference, we savored its true-to-name flavors. The Shakarkandi Tikki followed, a delightful appetizer that set the tone for the main course – Chhole Kulche. Instructing Kuldeep for a higher proportion of gravy, the chef's expertise shone through in a dish that exceeded our expectations.

To conclude our celebration, the thoughtful staff presented us with a complimentary eggless cake. Kuldeep, attentive to detail, played a key role in ensuring our evening was seamless. Jhansi captured the joyous moments with a delightful video and pictures, leaving us with cherished memories of our anniversary at Shamiana.

The breakfast is definitely worth going back for at Shamiana. The numerous options of traditional Indian and continental dishes left us spoilt for choice. Do try their masala tea, waffles, pancakes, parathas, egg options, and the South Indian breakfast fare. They also have outside seating - would be ideal in the cooler months.

Aahana and Jason reserved a table and made all the preparations for a surprise birthday lunch for us. They were around for breakfast and lunch. Aahana's jovial conversations made us right at home 🙏🏼.

👨🏼‍🍳 Sous Chef Sarvesh Singh kept checking in on us to see if they could whip up anything special or customise any of the endless food options for our taste and dietary requirements.

👍🏼Shrikhant, made us feel equally specially by making sure our guests were well attended too and went out of the way to get a vegetable biriyani arranged and a birthday cake with a sparkler for the celebrations.

🙏🏼 A shout out to Trupti, Ajesh, Fiza and Dhristee who attended to us and made our meals a memorable experience. Didn't get the names of the several other friendly staff who deserve a mention. Thank you 🙏🏼

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Sunday Brunch is another experience all together. A mix of numerous Indian, Arabic and Continental dishes - our guests loved the ambience, the decor, the service and most importantly the food. One visit won't do justice for the brunch experience. Will be going back again soon 😃

Visited recently for a birthday celebration....loved the food and ambience. A must visit restaurant for special occasions. Also check for offers before visiting...might get a good bargain. The staff is friendly and overall its a nice family experience if you are planning for one!

Shamiana, located at the luxurious TAJ JLT is your best bet with their SUNDAY BRUNCH 😍An exceptional buffet spread for the value.

What grabs your attention is the gorgeous skyline views to Mr. Alistair entertaining you with his magic tricks that leaves you wondering.😯 The staff is excellent with their service especially the manager Abhishek & our server Shrikant.

The refreshing mocktails are prepared fresh at a cute moving bar. All in all a full on gala time with family and friends.

We had the Iftar dinner during the weekend, overall feel and ambience of the restaurant was good. Staff service could be better as there were minimal interaction by the staff/ senior team, which is not upto the Taj standard which I personally know. Moving to the F&B part, some dishes were good such as the drinks, starters, lamb biriyani, palak paneer and few desserts. Could improve the pasta, main dishes sweet n sour prawns, beef etc. Refilling of the dishes were slow and not done timely. Kunafa was not refilled though it was dry and broken into pieces , couldn't find any staff interested to refill or replace the item.

. Ist important thing during Covid is hygiene and they maintain it at the highest standard as is expected out of a Taj 🏨 hotel .

Chat section is amazing and full of variety . It’s one of the most yummlicious chat you can find in UAE.

Good spread of main course . Totally authentic and they do not compromise on quality or taste .

One of the best moong dal halwa served in whole of dubai . In the desert section what I love about them is they focus more on quality rather than quantity.

Great ambience and convenient parking .
