A precious gem of a gallery in Rome, small, but everything is presented tastefully & elegantly. A range of interesting art pieces to take you from laughter to being thought-provoked... lovely to sit in the sculpture-garden Cafe afterwards to reflect over beautiful coffee & cake.

Amazing place, incredible cafe very cheap and good

Great place to host conventions and they also have a small but truly interesting private collection (you may find portraits of De Chirico and Balla, among others).

Nice bar on the ground floor for coffee and aperitif/ drinks. Good for long one-on-one meetings.

Recently opened. The cafe was filled with persons & students both in the indoor & outdoor seating area. Nice place away from the heat of the day.

A wonderful exhibit of important modern Italian painters and sculptors including a room of works by de Chirico. Highly recommended!

An important building built in 1929, Palazzo Merulana hosts a Museum of modern and contemporary art with collections of sculptures and painting works of the Roman school of 1900 including Giorgio De Chirico and Giacomo Balla. There are 4 exhibition floors, a terrasse at the ground floor and another terrasse at fifth floor, the latter it is probably not open to the public. The exhibitions which take place during the year are dedicated to contemporary art, photography and literature. The cafeteria located at the ground floor is a popular place for coffee and aperitif.
