Loved our time here. We spent over 3 hours here and although it was raining the animals came out at some point during our visit. It was 40 minutes on public transport from Union Square Station. Well worth visiting. Very big zoo.
Absolutely! So much fun. I $11 is a little bit out of my budget for parking. I found out later I could have parked on the street. There was quite a lot on a rainy day but something new to know.
The SF zoo is on the pricey side. However, it is a great place to visit with many animals and the park is large! In addition to the animals, the train and the playground are highlights that the kids love!! We were sad that the elephants were gone, but most of the other animals were still there! Oh, they now have a red panda and a 17 ft. anaconda!!
The San Francisco Zoo was amazing! There are so many beautiful animals and I had such a fun time here! I really enjoyed the experience and getting to see all the creatures. The Zoo is clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my time here and will be back!
Great way to spend time with your kids. They have a lot of animals at this zoo. The park is always very clean and so are the animal exhibits. The staff is very nice and helpful. Be prepared to do a lot of walking because the park is pretty big. They had a good variety of food and we all enjoyed our meals. It has playgrounds for the kids to enjoy and a carousel.
