Beautiful spot. Seen when at capacity and flowing over the weir. Water birds galore and trout spotted. No time for The Waterworks but next time definitely.
A great walk along here, nice and flat most of the way, the kids bought their bikes and had a great time and they were very tired the rest of the day.
It was a lovely long walk beside the river, with some nice scenery along the way. Plenty of parking.
Great place for a quiet lunch and the kids to run around. Incredibly windy though at times so be prepared to hang on to your stuff!!
Dam was overflowing when I came past blocking one of the walkways I didn't go for a walk but appears to have some good walking paths. Did have a warning about snakes being around which I am not fond of hence a drop in 2 ratings points.
Nice little park with a view of the weir. This also marks the start and end point for the local Parkrun on a Saturday morning so the park is a little busier than normal. Quite a picturesque little spot.
Attractive peaceful setting, with a well-kept shelter, to gather for meals. The sound of the water flowing over the weir makes a pleasant relaxing backdrop.
