Good photo spot with a great view of the skyline in the background. Can be a touch difficult to get a pic without other people in it, on a busy day.

Lovely park with a playground, toilets, grassed areas, park tables, BBQ area and walk trails. Tourist attractions include Munda Biddi trail head and Station Masters house. I have seen bettongs and native birds here.

Large green space with a large playground. Paths around the circumference to ride bikes and scooters in circles. Plenty of parking and cleaned and maintained in the mornings.
Downside is that the gates to the stormwater outfall are opened and kids can enter the stormwater system.

Excellent park, shaded now with small trees. Toilets nearby, plenty of parking. Aquatic center accessible, gym facilities around park. Multi-purpose synthetic field open to public. Multiple batting cages open for use. Footpaths wide enough for tricycles and scooter.

The Victoria Bridge abutment has become an iconic part of Brisbane. It still holds key features of the old bridge including granite tablets. In 2015 it was refurbished. There is a nice landscape of Brissy

This is one my favourite place to visit, it quiet and peaceful.
Has some historical significance this can be accessed both either way but the bridge access gets closed after 5pm.
But the access behind the hotel remains open for longer.
Good for walking both short and long trials.
Good family picnic spots, rose garden blooms during the spring.
Toilets are not maintained well.

It was great. There was however a lady with her vape hidden in her shirt who kept on blowing puffs in between watching her children. Vaping at a children's playground?????

Hallo,
Called into Northshore Riverside Cafe on 09/01/24 for a cappuccino, excellent service & a delicious cuppa. AUD $4.30
Will return when I have more time to order a meal.
Great amenities and close to the river.

The Brisbane sign at Southbank is a captivating landmark, adorned with vibrant lights that mirror the city's energy. Its stunning riverfront location and iconic design make it a must-see, offering a perfect backdrop for memorable photos. A true symbol of Brisbane's charm!

Such a beautifully made sign that attracts loads of crowds. It’s so good that each letter has different artwork and colours instead of a single boring colour on all letters like many cities do!

The park is in the middle of a highway, so lots of noise all around, as expected it gets really hot there, and there aren't many trees or shaded areas. The playground equipment is nice and big with sandpits.
A good place for little children, and for picnics. İt has a water play too, but not working often.

Queens Garden is a hidden gem that stole my heart with its enchanting atmosphere and lush greenery. The garden's meticulously curated landscapes transport you to a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. I was captivated by the vibrant array of flowers, the serene pathways, and the charming seating areas that make it a perfect spot for relaxation. Highly recommended!

A great dog friendly walk. Track is a little hard to follow as there are lots of off shoots but we used google maps to keep an eye on where we were going and didn't have any issues. Dog had a great time sniffing and exploring the wild flowers. Will definitely be back.

It's a Beautiful place and we had a good time with friends.

It was not very crowded at night when we visited there, Brisbane Sign looks amazing at night.

The only issue we faced was parking, it was paid parking and our card was not accepted. So we parked our car 1 mile away and booked Uber to enjoy the evening in Brisbane Sing and the cultural centre.

There was a paino a d a lady was playing it, which made our evening more beautiful.

Thank you Brisbane.

Massive playground and heaps of play equipment. Two large sand pits with water pumps. Well maintained and safe for families.

Lots of parking, heaps of covered picnic tables and BBQ stations. Water bubbler available around the park. Ice cream truck visits the park in the weekends. There's a walking /cycle tracks around the perimeter of the park. Lots of green areas for a good run. Some play areas are covered by sail shades.

Because of the lack of tree cover the park can be quite hot in summer times. Overall a very good park to visit with kids.
A historical structure for Western Australia. The weir is well-kept for the public. The views are tranquil.

There are a couple of car parks, the northern park requires some walking through bush to access the weir, but there are also two parks adjacent to the weir crossing.

Access is great for all. Some access gates close at 4:00 pm, and some at 5:00 pm.

There is a dining location on the North side as well as an art gallery.

This is a pleasant place to spend an hour or two.
Commerce district with a circle of historic buildings with beautiful stone. A commemorative seat dedicated to all govt workers. A pretty place for weddings or picnic. Not fenced for dogs but an open space for suitable free play.
We can only wonder what the people of the past would think of the high rise that clearly is gigantic compared to buildings of their era.

Enjoyed a scenic drive to this reservoir, nestled between two "mountains", it's a good spot to visit. The size of the dam is also decent and carries significant history and has a garden near one end.

A lovely landscaped space. Lots of green lawn to kick a ball, benchs, walking paths, and everything else that you would expect. But what makes this park extra special, is the beach! Get some sand in between your toes and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Brisbane River. (unfortunately no swimming)
Very nice and good for hiking.

Large park located just outside of Kalamunda town. Easily accessible by car or by bus.

Accessible public toilets which are cleaned regularly.

There is also a community centre located in the site which looks closed on the weekend.
I like this park as it’s near a coffee shop and toilets but hard to find a car park. Nice beach and grass areas, shaded table.

Excellent, fenced off playground for children. Only downside is the closest toilets are a good five-minute walk away in an often crowded and noisy aquatic centre.

Synthetic soccer field is excellent with great amenities for players and spectators alike.

Good place for kids and family parties. Bbq is allowed.
Beautiful place for a walk with the dogs, great views over the national park - the line between Jorgensen Park and the national park is a bit unclear, so try and follow the trail. If you get to a steep hill you’ve gone too far.
Victoria Bridge Abutment is a heritage-listed road bridge remnant at 74 Stanley Street, South Brisbane, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The remains are located adjacent to the current bridge, including a pedestrian arch, a short remnant of tram track and a memorial
Walk past this, very eye catching, stoped to take picture, apparently very historical piece, historical class on the spot

The alphabet sign here is a true example of how a simple landmark can become successful in its own unique way. It doesn't require any fancy architecture or building design to attract tourists or locals. The sign is made up of simple letters, yet it has become an iconic part of the city's landscape. Its lights and colors are always beautiful, making it an easy attraction for people passing by.

This landmark has been able to create a sense of identity and pride for the city. It has become a popular spot for taking photos. Its popularity has also helped to boost tourism in the city, as many visitors come specifically to see the sign.

The alphabet sign has become a part of the cultural fabric of the Brisbane, and its significance goes beyond just being a simple sign. It represents the spirit and character of the city, and has become a symbol of its progress and development. The sign is a true testament to the power of simple design and how it can leave a lasting impact on the world.
Hector Vasyli Memorial
THE DATE WAS JUNE 9, 1918, and young Greek-Australian newspaper boy Hector Vasyli was part of the crowds welcoming sick and injured soldiers back from the Great War.

Vasyli and his family lived nearby at the Queensland Oyster Palace, and the boy was well-known for spending his wages on flowers, sweets, and other gifts for returning troops—a fact that made his death, crushed when a car in the parade swerved to avoid an accident and hit him—all the more tragic.

Vasyli suffered a fractured skull and died later in the hospital, provoking an outpouring of public grief and fundraising for a memorial. Noted local sculptor Daphne Mayo created the facial medallion of Vasyli for the memorial plaque, which was unveiled soon after on the South Bank end of the Victoria Bridge.

A series of illustrated information boards nearby briefly explains the history of the bridge and the Brisbane River, noting that the original bridge was constructed in 1864 of wood, then replaced several times over the oncoming decades. When the latest bridge was built around 1970, the southern arch that features Vasyli’s memorial was under threat, but the local people had such regard for the memory of the boy that this piece of the original bridge was saved, and though Mayo’s original medallion was lost, a replacement was created using old photographs.

Sticking out one side, the arch now stands in noticeable tribute to Vasyli, and since the late 1980s, the Greek community has placed a wreath under the plaque each year on Anzac Day. The Victoria Bridge Abutment was heritage listed in 1992, and a specific access bridge built in 2015.
Has a park for kids, would've been nicer to have few more things in the park for little toddlers

Beautiful venue. A very big gazebo for big groups. However, you’ve gotta get there early to secure the place. The place has a playground for kids, and toilets. More sun-wise gazebos may be needed to cater to families and groups.

In the heart of Brisbane CBD.
Easy to find.
Ironically the meeting place to commence Invasion Day Rally called 'Queens Gardens'.
Dog Friendly.
ACCESS ✅ All modes of transport for all abilities with sealed walkways, ramps and lifts from the train station.
NEURODIVERGENT ⚠️🎧 It's in the noise and hussle and bussle of city life, noisy traffic etc! In summer full blast sunshine with a few limited trees on the periphery. Wear your noise isolator/ear plugs, headphones and sunnies to limit your sensory overload.

Nice medium sized park, has a flying foxe ,2 sets of swings slides ,2 BBQ sets under cover with two large picnic tables . Grassed area nearby , awesome new synthetic soccer pitch open to the public. A lot of street parking available, although it can be hard to park in the weekends due to club games being played at the soccer field .Public cricket batting cage near the stadium.

Toilets 3-5minutes walk ,located under the stadium. Workout stations nearby. There's a water bubbler near the stadium, unfortunately none closer to the playground area.

Beware of the large slides as the tubes have sharp turns and kids can get hurt if they're sliding too fast. Can get really hot in summer because there's not enough tree cover. Park only fenced on two sides ,keep your kids in sight. Nice park.8/10

Big grass areas, playground and fig trees! It needs some public toilets though so people can have host proper events. The local councillor also hosts outdoor movie nights here with popup food stalls - big projector and sound... Kids love it.

Lovely spot for a walk. We brought our doggo here and there are spots where they are allowed to be off-leash but look out for the areas where you have to put them back on. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk even though the weather turned in the middle of our day out.
They may look like mud flats to you at low tide but they are far more. Deception Bay provides a superb nursery for many species of sea creatures and the birds are so numerous. You will spot new each time you stop to look.
Of concern is the rubbish that ends up in the water causing death and destruction to sea life. If you see rubbish and can, bin it.
Our planet is precious. The Deception Bay Conservation Area is so special. It needs to be treasured.

Awesome little park for a relaxing day out or somewhere for the kids to burn some energy. Has a nice little track to ride your bike on as well as an awesome outdoor play area and even has a mini water play area. Don't forget the sand pit as well. Ample covered picnic areas make it perfect for a little party or to catchup with a large group of friends or family.
Nice little park with room for kids to run around, paths to ride bikes, watch boats and citycat, little sheltered bbq areas with picnic tables and little beach area. Shady areas provided by nice trees. Not too crowded so we like it. Don’t be tempted to park illegally, council parking inspectors often frequent the area.

Lovely area with play ground, tables and chairs, even a flying fox. Gets very busy on weekends and there's not a lot of parking.
Great park with plenty of open spaces, grassy areas, pathways for riding and walking. Lots of sheltered seating and bbq space, definately recommend if you live in the area. Unusually empty for such a well designed park with so many amenities.

What a great park! Great toilet block, heaps of parking. Excellent and plentiful play equipment, something for all ages of kids from toddler swings to slides, a sand pit, scooter path then also bigger equipment for older kids like a flying fox, rope web for climbing, taller play equipment and obstacle course. Such a great park for all ages. Once the trees grow it will be lovely & shady but at the moment you rely on the shade sail and covered picnic tables for shade.

From what I understand Jorgensen Park was once a golf course.. But now its an awesome place to take your doggo for walkies.. Its an undulating walk through the scrub along some narrow tracks as well as wide open walk trails.. Its a relatively easy walk and quite shady everywhere.. Suitable footwear would be an idea as it's a little loose here and there..

Theres a decent sized carpark to start with, and a closed in playground for the kids..
This is such a peaceful little space with BBQ facilities. Great places for the kids to run around.
Must visit this part of the bridge if you would like to know about the history of Brisbane. This is located in South bank, don't miss this tour.
Just a nice little park in the side streets. Has a small playground and a drinking fountain.

A GREAT local park. Open green spaces. Great play area for the kids. Small bike path. Toilet facilities. Can get VERY packed especially when a few large family groups gather on weekends. But kids love this park. Too many play things to mention. Good for a stop over pop in to let the kids run around

UPDATE: They have made it better by adding more covered seat areas, a water play feature, another sand area, and other stuff including sightly extended easy learner bike path
