During the show, audience was notified not to touch performers unless invited to. Fine w me...I would've thought thatd go bothways. I didn't expect to have a glove that had been used to floss around the male performers genitals (on a 40° day/ evening) thrown at my head. I thought burlesque meant a bit of class act...and I grew up in kings cross. Nasty, when I'm.sitting there w husband and another couple....and they were querying what was the vibe from tables that ended up being vacant. I/we wouldn't go back.....even tho couple of the burlesque performers did great and tasteful shows

Always great acoustics but place is looking a little shabbier than normal. Toilets absolutely reek though, even when it was only 7.30pm the time we went.

Had a few beers and watched a show. Awesome venue, very intimate atmosphere, great sound.

I went to this place for a concert. I did not have any food so I cannot give my opinion about that.
I had one of the cocktails, the Perfect Lady Grey. It was delicious!!
The atmosphere in this place is vibrant, the decoration took me to another period of time... I could be in the 60s in Paris.

The Vanguard stages first class acts in a venue that is intimate whilst offering room for comfort. The meals and drinks are high quality served by friendly staff.

Went here the other night with my girlfriends and we had the best night. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and gave great cocktail recommendations. Will definitely get a dinner and show ticket next time, the food look unreal

Reminds me of a lovely little niche Speakeasy with great atmosphere and avant-garde acts. Very sophisticated and welcoming. Only downfall, if you don't have dinner bookings, you may have to stand as there is only limited seating with a view of the stage. Quaint, pleasant and a must.
