La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop

Food was really expensive for the portions (1 tiny taco was $10?). Lots of vegan/dairy-free options. The drinks were also really strong. Music was kinda loud but the atmosphere was nice. The service was really good though! Waiter helped me find the washroom (there are more upstairs!)

Went there for "Dine Out Vancouver" for lunch on Sunday. The beautiful and friendly waitress said not available for lunch today - only for certain weekdays for lunch I said you didn't specify on the "Dine Out Vancouver" website. Feeling disappointed and left. Went to Japanese restaurant instead :(

Appetizers: we loved the Tuna Tartare (refreshing & mouth-watering) and Tacos De chicharron (pork belly - favourable). My husband said he must order Tuna Tartare next time. He wanted more and more!

Entree: Sauteed garlic prawns and Enchiladas

Dessert: Carlota (lime pie) - before I ate, I smelled very fresh lime and mint. We usually are not crazy about any sweet. Wow, we fell in love with it after the first bite!

Attentive service: the Manager explained every single word on the dine out menu with charming Spanish accent. The beautiful waitress always checked with us about every dish.

Overall, it's one of the best dine out experiences. Thanks to the Owner for your generosity!

My first time here and we enjoyed a delicious lunch with extremely welcoming and friendly group of hosts and servers. I had the enchiiladas (+ avocado) and a mocktail - yummy. Restaurant was very clean and plenty of space between tables. Would come again.

Excellent place, the staff is always super kind they make you feel super welcome, they speak English and Spanish. You can celebrate your birthday and they will sing happy at mariachi sound and “chispitas” gracias totales!!!!

A very popular taco shop located in the Brentwood complex. The tables and seats are a bit minimalistic but you shouldn't really expect much more than utilitarian for a taco shop.

Food was pretty good on both of our visits. Not a huge menu but adequate variations on popular fare. The quesabirria tacos are quite good. Tacos are served on double tortillas so you could either split the ample filling into two separate tacos or just eat them as is.

Also had the carnitas and pollo tacos and the enchiladas verdes. Fairly filling meal once you add in the beans and rice.

On another visit, we tried the burrito de la casa (beef) and it was super tasty (albeit difficult to eat by hand since the filling was so moist). Wound up knife and forking it towards the end but it was worth it.

Love that they’re dog friendly! The barbacoa sandwich is a must try. A bit greasy, but maybe that’s why it tastes sooo good 🙈 The broth on the side is absolutely divine with all its flavours - you can dip the sandwich or drink on its own as a soup. I’ll definitely order this again but will also return to try other things on the menu. Service was lovely - they’re attentive and know their menu well.

I’ve had a lot of Mexican food in Vancouver, La Taqueria is by far my favourite and I highly recommend it to everyone. The vibe is immaculate, the service is top notch and the food is FUEGO good! This is my second time here and I’m very impressed, I would come back again!!! 1000% recommend
