Clarendon Suites

This place has no front desk, no lobby, no full time staff. Just four suites above a bar.

The bar below staff is the staff, let me tell you they are wonderful. Management however is none existent and completely none responsive to their guests. We had a major issue, while the staff did all they could the management did nothing and in fact never replied to us or reached out to us.

Yet the place is a very nice room, a perfect location and a reasonable price. So, IF you have no incidents this is the perfect place to stay…. If not I hope the staff can resolve your issue because the management won’t.

Filthy overpriced rooms above a bar. Check out the photos. There is no fridge (they advertise as having one), the rooms are dirty and full of mould, check out how disgusting the air conditioning is!! Noisy bar below you, no lift so you have to carry your suit cases up 4 flights of narrow stairs. The host is uncontactable once you check in. An absolutely DISGUSTING place. It was soooo bad, booking.com refunded us after we complained.

The most disgusting, dirtiest rooms ever and worse than that is the attitude of the managers.
They know how everything is so bad but just don't care and don't wanna face you.
Mould is growing all over the place, this place is health hazard and needs to be shut down

I overpaid for what they call a suite apt. But is nothing more that a room with a sink and a microfridge, one plate for two person and no sitting space whatsoever apart from the bed. Too bad it's a trap and once you sit, you won't be able to leave. Beware people with back problems. The room is publicised as having a microwave, but look, there is none. Since we chose that solution over cheaper ones because we wanted the microwave and kitchenette, we ended up having breakfast on the trap bed. When we complained, and I showed them proof their website is clearly selling something that is not true, they shrugged their shoulders, said there is nothing they could do and just offered me to use the microwave in the bar. Right, except if I wanted to use the microwave in the bar, I would have gone to a hostel.
To me, this is unacceptable, and I would urge everyone to not gift these people with money they don't appreciate, because they won't value you.

Went here in June and stayed in the penthouse. It was so cozy and had such a great view over the streets! everything was so clean, it was very deluxe all around and the bed was so comfortable however every time we were in the apartment, the apartment next to us were blaring music literally until 7am I thought I was going to go insane! it would have been fine if it was actually good music but intense techno at 5am.. is a bit much... at least there were earplugs :D

I'll definitely be back if I'm in Dublin again

One of the nicest rooms we stayed at on 2 week UK excursion. But the construction noise and bar noise at night keeps it at 4. We knew about this going into it but we ended up with a pretty hard hot stay (not the owners fault of course) and had to keep the windows opened a lot. We did receive complimentary ear plugs which we had to use. Bar staff are super friendly, and super helpful. Food is good pub food and there is a good beer selection.
