Just had the Sammy Davis Jr sandwich and it was delicious. Staff was very friendly and the location is very well kept with a small stand up counter by the front window. Really looking forward to my next visit!

This was an amazing sandwich. They’re quite big for the price. It’s greasy but in a comfort food, homestyle cooking way. The staff is super friendly! A great place for lunch

Came to the deli to pick up a sandwich for lunch. It was our first time, and we asked the store manager for his suggestion. We ended up picking up the Sammy Davis Junior which is filled with pastrami and pickles. We were between a few different sandwiches, and when we were picking up our order, we were actually also given a medium sized Sammy the Ham to try for free! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bread was crispy on the outside like your classic sandwich bread and the filling was tasty but the portion could have been more generous. We are curious about the other flavours and would return to try the others.

The sandwiches are a good size and of very good quality, the local gets busy quickly, honestly one of my favorite sandwich places.

I wanted this to be my next go-to lunch spot, but my experience didn’t prove that. I ordered the half Don, Sammy the Ham, and an Elm Green Salad. Both the sandwiches were tasty, but the salad was awful. The cucumbers were disintegrating and slimy—like the salad was a few days past expiry date. I’m disappointed and really wanted Elm Street Italian Deli to be a home run, but it sadly was not.

This place is an amazing little gem tucked a couple blocks north of Dundas Square. The exterior of the deli is unassuming and modest, the food is the star and speaks for itself. Portion sizes are great for the value, and all are big on flavour. You will not be disappointed in your order. There is a counter inside that you can stand and eat your sandwich looking out at Elm Street or you can take it to go.

The sandwich I got was really good and the staff are nice, gave me recommendations on what to get. Will definitely visit again. A little expensive at $16 for the 12inch but I think it was worth it. Can easily be two meals if you aren't a real eater like me 👍
