LU

We went here for lunch, so the menu was limited, but what was available was superb. We took the crispy pork with rice and the #vegan mapo tofu. Both dishes were amazing. Don’t get me wrong, Chinese restaurants in Copenhagen have been upping their game a lot from the miserably greasy buffet restaurant or the fast food Kina grill that has million things on the menu, but Lu in Malmö is worth mentioning simply because they don’t have much in the menu but what they have were excellently made, and I miss that

I regret it a little bit that we don’t live near Davidshalltorget, but life is indeed unfair sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I’ll be back whenever I’m on the other side of the pond!

LU is one of my favorites for roast duck and crispy pork in town. The restaurant has a cool, modern/vintage Chinese vibe. I ordered noodles, cucumber salad, roast duck, and crispy pork—everything was delicious and just right for two people.

This place is amazing! I’ve been here a few times now and I absolutely love it. They serve with no hesitation the most authentic and tasty Chinese food in Malmö. The restaurant is really cozy and a great spot for a quick lunch or a fancy dinner. The food is something else. I really love their soy and ginger salmon, pickled cucumbers and the Gai lan. I like to ask for a bowl of extra rice and mix with the left over sauce from the Gai lan - so good. The only minus really would be that the toilet is very small. But for all the other good things that this restaurant has to offer it really doesn’t matter.

We went to this restaurant last Sunday for lunch. I think it is great it was still open when most of the restaurants were closed. The restaurant is quite crowded mainly because it is small. Old Hongkong style decorations and music. We got the food quite quickly and they seem nice. But the taste didn’t meet my expectations and they are very salty. Price is a minus as well.

This place feels like one of those hole in the wall, small Hong Kong joints which gives an authentic atmosphere feel.

As a vegetarian, I go with the rice bowl and tofu stew, which is very flavorful and satisfying. My fellow carnivore friends can go for a duck bye under a bed of rice and vegetables. A Very satisfying lunch!

Not the most pleasant experience to eat at this restaurant. The food was exquisite, very tasty and good portions! (With a slight comment about the duck main course which was half bones half meat, not really what is expected...)
However, the service was not good. The waitress working there was quite rude and not welcoming towards us at all. Also, all dishes used for the food was plastic which gave me a very "cheap restaurant" vibe. Toilets were so small and you can barely move in there at all! That space should not be called a WC.
I would definitely get take-away food from there, but I am not dining in again.

Their roasted duck menu is very similar to what I have tasted in Singapore. They provide chili oil on the table which matches perfectly with this dish. Delicious 😋 Definitely need to try it. The fried wonton was crispy and tasty.
