Wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food! i would strongly recommend the octopus tentacle with sweet potato. The clam linguine was very simple and for my taste a tiny bit undersalted, but still very good.

Had a lovely dinner at Le Refuge! The food was incredible and the team was lovely. I showed up at around 8pm on a Friday for one and they were booked up, but had a slot for me to reserve for the next day. I recommend calling ahead! Dinner was awesome, and the sunset and views were unbeatable!

They love what they do, and you will taste it 🥰

The best fish in marseille and from starters of chickpea fries to beef carpacio we had a really fresh and delicious meal and enjoyed the time to talk to the host as well. This restaurant is kind of a concept where everything fits together.
Thank you so much for making the last evening so beautiful.

Dont forget to reservate before, its mosttimes full.

If you want a simple and effortless lunch under the sun its the place to eat.
I recommend tagliatelle with clams or the grilled sea-bass with boiled potatoes with yoghurt herb sauce.

To put things bluntly, this place is overhyped and overpriced.
There is the restaurant and kitchen area, which no guests are seated in, and the patio area, which is 20 meters away and because seating is limited, can get full quickly. There is only one waiter to attend to everyone. He seems to be trying his best at times, but still is a bit slow and worse, snooty (prétentieux.)
It was about 16 euros for a bowl of linguine with a few clams. The only highlight to me were the noodles, which were springy and clearly homemade. But the overall taste was average--little white wine, little garlic, and not many clams.
I guess what you're paying for is the central view of the Old Quarter.
