Very nice beach, free parking and easy to access.
No complaints other than the sand is dark unlike Siesta in Sarasota. Venice beach is easier to get to and park than Siesta and not quite as busy! The water is beautiful and always plenty of wildlife to see. Life Guards are always present and attentive. There is always great police patrolling the area. Great safe family place to spend the day! Currents can be very strong in some areas so watch your kids and don’t send them out there alone!

Best kept secret... although word has gotten out. Blue Ribbon beach with a nice Pavilion that has a concession stand/shop and clean bathrooms as well as areas to shower. You can walk to both the Jetty and the Pier with a little effort. Shops on Venice Ave. are walkable and accessible. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but they have a dog beach about 10 minutes away.
Beautiful beach with a pier! It was absolutely gorgeous, however there were lots of seaweeds in the water which was a bit nasty. Other than that, beautiful anddd you can’t rent chairs and umbrellas!
I've been here twice, but not to swim or relax. We just took a 10 minute stroll through the sand and got our feet wet. In October it wasn't crowded and plenty of parking space. In February it was crowded, but still found a parking space. Changing space, bathroom, and feet rinse are available. There are patches of soft and compacted sand. The sand wasn't too hot on our feet. Volleyball nets are available too. Gorgeous sunset.
beautiful beach of coarse grain slightly dark,the gulf sea is clean and deep, this is a public beach, parking behind the beach is free and there are various access to the beach ,to fish advice to avoid weekends or daytime hours because people’s bathing is constant
