Good spot to observe 34L traffic
great place to see sunrise, the area is a bit wuite so if you choose to airport sleeping, just wonder around the observation area
If you have time before your flight go up and watch the planes land. Really cool to do with kids.
Great place for plane spotting, best light in the morning. Also has Mt Fuji view on clear days with sunset view too
Has good vending machines for snacks and has a lot of chairs and tables, some in the shade. You can see beautiful landings and/or take offs. During winter, you get great sunset views of mount fuji.
Take an elevator at the central area of T1 to 6th floor. There are 2 observation decks on the left and the right. The Fantastic view of JAL airplanes at domestic gates of T1 with the international terminal T3 and Mt.Fuji and flights departing and landing at the runway. I like T1 observation deck more than T2's.
Car required. A great scenic drive and a great lookout. Made a bee friend. Would recommend this route and lookout if you have a car and the time.
