Mahoning Country Club

I went to a benefit outing here, it was great. Only thing about the course was the signing, couldn't tell where I was heading next. Steak was very good and the pulled pork sandwiches were amazing.

I played here before and wanted to play again this year with my buddy. The course is nothing to write home about but with some cart path And green improvements the course could be really nice.

The reason I’m leaving a one star is because of the starters and their lack of customer care. We had a late teatime at 6 PM and was told to leave on the ninth hole at 7:50 PM. I was very cut off guard by the starter as it doesn’t get dark until 9 PM due to being in the summer. Very upset with the personnel staff and not a course who is friendly to the bogey golfer however their course condition is geared towards the bogey golfer or new golfers in general. For the price there is a lot better options in Youngstown area and I would recommend avoiding this one.

1st time there. Enjoyed the experience. People club house all nice, cart ran well, golf cou6 in great shape. Very impressed with the greens, firm, rolled, good ball roll. Only had time for 9 holes. Hoping to play back 9 next. Thanks for the Sr discount, Thanks

To give this place less than 5 stars when they are closing their doors forever would be wrong. Has been good to our organization for years. May not have been the fanciest but it was good. Happy retirement.

Decent course for the area. The clubhouse is new and looks very nice inside.

Mon. 12/12 . Our group was the only one in the dining room. The room has a beautiful fireplace, but non-working. It was quite chilly back there. The food was just ok, but the baked potatoes were not cooked long enough, so were hard. The waitress was very attentive to us. It is an advantage to be able to park close to the building now.

I attended a wonderful wedding here yesterday. It was beautifully decorated, the staff was present without being intrusive, the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Tricky timing with a chicken dinner buffet, as there was no EXACT time to serve, based on photos being taken, etc...but it was juicy, tasty and perfect. The details were met, I was there an hour early and it was all set up with no last minute craziness. WELL DONE! Highly recommended.

My husband and I had our reception there October 15th and it was AMAZING! Sue helped us so much throughout the entire process and she was so easy to work with. She truly knows what she is doing and made the hall look beautiful. The food was amazing and all of the guests loved the food and the way the hall looked! The best part about it is that their prices are so reasonable! Thank you so much to everyone there that helped make our reception the best!!
