Interesting history of former steel mill and indigenous peoples in Sydney area. Mostly paved walk. Few people were on the trail.
Beautiful facility and grounds. You could spend a whole day with your family. There's a park and a splash pad, snack Shack and a wonderful trail system.
I went there for celebrating Canada day and my experience was worth. I enjoyed alot with my friends. This place was full of greenery. And there were swings. Apart from this the kids area was full of different activities.
I had a superb experience on Canada Day on 1st of July 2023. Lots of Games for kids, delicious food and live music by The Beaches and Fireworks at last. Overall it was a fun and great experience to be there at Open Hearth Park. Loved it.✌️

Beautiful park with lots of stuff to do for children. Always clean and big areas to play and have fun.
Lovely, beautiful, and flat a nice walk that good for anyone. Nice for dogs too, also good spot for sunset 🌇
Very clean park always a clear path especially in the winter. No ice on the walkway. Good place for a good walk or a Pokémon Go adventure as there's lots of pokestops/gyms. Love when ribfest is in town too 😍
