Spoke with a Mr. Workman today who was very pleasant and helpful. I would give him 5 stars for sure.

Taking a star away cause I owe money for the dumbest reason and their penalty fee is exponentially higher than the amount I owe. So dumb. But there are def some great and helpful people over there.

Long hours of waiting .. the customer services is poor and the knowledge poor.. transfer and transfer calls without answers . We visited personally but the answer is go online .. don’t listen to the client .

Waited for 2 hours online to get information for a business all to be hung up on by some employee with an attitude because she couldn't answer basic questions. So sorry to put you out by wanting you to do your job.

Taxes were incorrectly withheld from my paycheck. I neither live nor work in DC. The company I work for is not based in DC. Im not sure why they withheld for the district but here we are. I filed the correct paper work in early February then checked the website to find that there's an 8 week processing window. Here I am heading into week 11 since filing and still haven't received my return.

I really wish you guys would release tax payers refunds. No one is doing anything and you guys are going beyond 8 weeks for a lot of people in the same situation. There are reddit forums and groups consistently talking about how horrible DC is and how we've all been waiting and waiting and waiting. Someone needs to hold these people in this office ACCOUNTABLE. ASAP. It's crazy you all are getting away with doing this to the residence and don't care. I cannot express the stress that this is causing so many people. There needs to be something done about this office. Look at the rating. It's below 2. That's horrible.

Does this place need more employees? Because it has to be severely understaffed. I call about my refund and they say it's processing and I'm like "So you're telling me, everyday for the past almost 8 weeks someone is looking at my refund and processing it daily with no resolve?" The rep got quiet and said "yes". Umm. If yall need help, there's plenty of people who need jobs and can work from home to help people get the help they need in a timely manner. With inflation and people behind on bills and rent, we need our money before we're displaced or building late fees and more. Please think of the people out here struggling to make ends meet.

The walk-In experience can fluctuate depending on who you get at the window. Some agents are more patience and helpful more than the others. My E-Services experience was amazing. Cheryl Curtis assisted me over the phone with the 3 issues that I needed help with and she was very understanding and helpful. She took care of all 3 issues immediately and further explained what was happening as well. It was the most efficient conversation I’ve had compared to my last few walk-in visits.

I have had opportunities to call their collection devision to clarify some issues with a small NPO. I talked with four representatives. My experience with them is much better than I initially expected. All of representatives were professional and helpful. The average call waiting times is just a few minutes. In summary, based on my experience, they are well trained and ready to help. I give a five-star rating with confidence.
