This is a great place to dine in downtown Birmingham. The food is always good and the waiters are extremely attentive. The only issue I have is that the restaurant is very small and tables are close together.

Went there to celebrate my birthday with the family. The service is top-notch and the food was exceptional! Every dish that we ordered was OnPoint!
You get dissatisfied a lot when you go out lately, but you won’t be disappointed with this restaurant.

This place has great food and is great for any occasion or special event. Our server Colin was great and had some very good recommendations for food. I asked if they had any pasta with a vodka based sauce and he mentioned they can put something together, and it was very good. The starters were okay, but the main courses were all great. All their pastas are good, and their chicken piccata is by far one of the best I’ve ever had. Besides the place being very small and everyone sitting next to each other, the food makes up for it and so does the service. I’ll definitely come again.

Bella Piatti is simply an all around great experience. The food is fresh, the service is always top-notch, and the atmosphere delivers. Certainly a "go-to" when you don't feel like cooking at home. Very rarely do I say "this is the best...." however, the veal shank I had at Bella truly was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great place but the wait is unbelievable you will be waiting for hours and that is no lie! When people go out to eat here they stay and do not leave!!!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday. I ordered the gemmeli el pomodoro. It was really bad. It tasted like I had just opened a can of tomato paste and poured it on. I told the waitress that it was gross so she said what else would you like. I ordered the garganelli alla umbra. It was really good. When we got the bill, she didn’t take off the gemmeli el pomodoro. When we asked about it after we got our bill she just shrugged. So we paid extra for a meal that was terrible, she didn’t even say “Happy Birthday” to my daughter. Then top it off the waitress didn’t give back my husband’s credit card so we had to drive back to get it. Definitely won’t be back.

Went there to celebrate birthday. Amazing service, beautiful ambiance, great wine selection, and most importantly delicious food. All sauces are homemade. The only challenge is to find a away to improve the ventilation system as every 20-30 minutes we had a wave of the food smell coming out of the kitchen, which is not nice to have stuck on your clothes when you leave. I will defiantly go back after lent to try their meat options.
