The food is nice although in my personal opinion a bit scarce on the main ingredient in some cases. Good service. What I liked least is that one is seated practically on top of the other guests, too many tables crammed into too little space. Oh and the views of the parking lot are not what you come here for either.
The food was good - excellent butter chicken. Mixed grill was great except the tandoori prawns were a serious disappointment - looked huge but hardly any prawn meat once you cut away the head. The grilled lamb was ok but not amazing.
Also atmosphere was strange as next door’s live music was louder than the piano music in the restaurant, which combined into a terrible din.
Service was good but when we were greeted when we arrived, the waiter in charge was quite abrupt and not especially welcoming.
Overall, decent did the job. Wasn’t amazing, and wouldn’t go back.

This most recent time was seriously disappointing. We always eat at or have gotten takeaway from Masala every time we've visited the area for the last 3-4 years and it has always been one of the best curries we've had.
This time the food was genuinely flavourless. It was actually strange that the bhajis didn't really taste of anything, the korma didn't really taste of anything, the kebab didn't really taste anything, the peshwari naan did taste a bit like what it was meant to but again was lacking. It's sad that one of the best curries we've ever had has now genuinely turned into one of the worst if not the worst.
The new refurb inside the restaurant has at least been well done. Hope you guys get back to your previous form as it was top notch.

I had a disappointing incident when I found a piece of plastic in one of the dishes I ordered to eat at home. I have shared pictures of the plastic piece as proof.
We live on the coast and best Indian we have visited by a mile. The restaurant is so warm and welcoming. Staff were amazing (thanks for helping me with my duolingo 🤣) We had the mixed starter to share which was delicious. For my main I had the Handi which was really unique, not had something quite like it before and was the best choice. Was amazing. Definitely recommend dining here.
