CK was my first Studio in Berlin and it became a safe space where i can always return. I have meet so much different artists and ceramic enthusiast which most of them have become also friends. The workshop facilities are perfect for exploring different types of clay and techniques within this discipline, with spaces for handbuilding, wheel, molds and glazes. It is also tidy and clean, creating a very pleasant space to work. It is a recommended site for anyone who wants to start this adventure, they offer many options for classes, programs and talks.

I did the residency working artist program at Ceramic Kingdom a few years ago and I fell in love with the place and the people. I have only good memories from my time there. The open studio is great and if you wanna apply as a working artist, I think it is a great program to learn how a ceramic studio works and build a nice community of artist and friends. For me it is a very special place and very greatful I got to be working there.
The classes are also great and the space is organized very good, so working there was always cormfortable.
I highly recommend ceramic kingdom to anyone that wants to learn ceramic, or who is looking for a space to work in their own projects.

Lovely ceramic studio with great classes and really helpful teachers. Just generally a gentle and inclusive vibe to work in. I really appreciate that it doesn’t feel intimidating to go there as a novice or a new face in the room.

The owner and staff I talked to were incredibly helpful and kind. Although I cannot comment on the courses themselves, as I haven't taken any yet, the space and people are great!

Although I have not used the space myself, Madeline was kind enough to give a tour of the facilities and I was incredibly impressed! There's a clay recycling station, large kilns, plenty of storage space, and even a clay 3D printer. After talking to some other people in the space, I left the building with a smile on my face. It's such a lovely location and it's an extremely inclusive and compassionate atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Nice Workshop, but…
But we spent half of the time (1h) listening to the explanations (twice) of the instructors… they also charge extra if you want to fire your pieces after paying around 60€ per person (we were a group of 10 people).

They were also so harsh telling us to separate the used clay to recicle it…

I did a basic wheel throwing and a mini pottery course in Ceramic Kingdom. I loved both, and I would definitely come back. They offer studio time as well, and firing services. The studio is spacious and well-equipped. I fully recommend!
