Gol Ghar

Ruins of this palace structure seems to be good from outside but closed for public.

I dont know much about this place but yeah from far and from all direction you can see the beautiful structure still rubbled standing on the top side of the mountain,it has its own beauty.

Inside visit is not permitted due to cracks in structure

Some of the only remaining cultural heritage of Jammu.
Beautiful buildings and well planned campus.
Needs to initiate conservation efforts and attention from authorities.
Palaces needs conservation expertise to ensure proper conservation.

Gold Ghar is an ancient structure. It's a southern part of the structure of mubarak place. Now it's a deserted area due to earthquake. The building 🏫 is collapsed and the ruins can be seen from outside of the main road of Tawi riverside. I came to see this ancient structure but sadly it was not a shape to see and enjoy. Hope the government and ASI will pay more attention to restore this old heritage of the gol ghar. Do visit and learn something if you wish too

This is an awesome destination to spend time with your friends. It is old that why it is little bit haunting.
But it is a good place to come with your friends.

Gol ghar was always an awesome place to visit with your friends. I have spent a lot of time there when i was in 15 to 20. We play cricket there and also have tak3n my karate classes there.

One of the best place I've visited in my life. Very few People knows about it but its a wonderful place. You can see the full view of Jammu and Tawi from here. Because it is old it is little bit risky place because the buildings there can fall anytime but if you go there dont stand under the old buildings and just enjoy the view point. Because the only thing beautiful there is view point where you can click some images.
