Great spot for a walk. Really nice once the rose gardens come in to bloom.

A serene and beautiful place to spend some time with nature. Riverside walkway, memorial architecture will make you come back here. Situated within the city and accessibility is very convenient. Must visit if you like to go for walks by the river. Perfect location for a day out with kids, friends or family.

The Irish National War Memorial Park in Islandbridge is a beautifully laid out park designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. They are dedicated to the memory of the 49,400 Irish soldiers who died in World War 1. The name of every single soldier is contained in the sumptuously illustrated Harry Clarke manuscripts in the granite bookrooms.

Sunken rose gardens, herbaceous borders and extensive tree-planting make for an enjoyable visit in any season. It is very well maintained by OPW
I love where it is situated at the side of the Liffey.
