First time trying this authentic Korean restaurant in the Midland and McNicoll area

Atmosphere is open and inviting with lots of room for everyone.

Food is pretty good. Ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and cold noodles. Loved the fried hot chicken

The service is pleasant and nice. Also really liked the traditional Korean appetizers

Waitress pressures you to tip and makes a big scene if you don’t. Causes a horrible atmosphere. But I was hungry so I stayed. The restaurant wasn’t even busy but after 10 calls the waitress continues to ignore you and doesn’t acknowledge you need service. By the time the bill comes, that’s when she runs up to you with the machine. After I paid, she demands for more payment. Really?? No wonder the restaurant isn’t busy.

The flavours here are authentic and my family comes regularly. The chicken and beef ramen have a very clean taste and come with a lot of noodles. All the side dishes are tasty as well, especially the japchae and fish cakes. Other dishes we enjoy are the jjampong, gamjatang, japchae rice, kimbap and definitely the katsu! The service is a bit slower sometimes but there’s few workers for a big space.

Tried their cold noodle, the noodle is great but the soup is bland. Seafood cake is alright. Service is soso looks like they are short staffed.

I've been to the other location at Warden and went to this one since that location was under construction. My family and I ordered the dak galbi for two, the chicken kasu, and a dish of fried boneless chicken.

Like the other location, the portions are pretty large and the food tastes great! It was my first time ordering the dak galbi (my go to is almost always the snack combo), so we were surprised at just how much food came. It tasted delicious and I think it's my new favourite dish!

The atmosphere at this one is definitely more modern than the Warden location, feeling more "open concept" due to the half walls and the much larger eating area.

The food was delicious and I definitely would come here again!

This place is very lovely and the staff is friendly. What stood out to me though was that there was a full set of side dishes, which is sadly rare these days. The main dishes were small, but very filling, so they were definitely enough for one person each. They were cooked very well though - my eel bowl was extremely tender. The only thing is that this restaurant is a bit pricey, and this is totally fine if you are out with the intention of spending money, but if not, I wouldn't recommend coming here. That said, COVID has affected restaurant prices a lot so I'm not sure if there are that many cheap places anymore.

They provide 5 sides but only allow you to refill 3 of them once. The chicken katsu isn’t bad you get a lot which add values. The washroom and dining area is very clean!
