It is a good library and a quiet space to concentrate and study, especially for post-graduates. Registration is required in advance for use.
The open space leading up to the library was decorated for Christmas and people were visiting.

The library is probably the best library in London.
The library has several big reading rooms on the 4th Floor including the one full of sofas.
The library staff is nice.
The 5th Floor 6th Floor & 7th Floor has little space for reading.
The 7 th Floor has the least people to visit and really quiet which makes it probably the best place to study.
*Water bottle can be filled up on the Ground Floor*

I visit Senate House Library to borrow books and study. The building is magnificent 😍 , the library is well-equipped and staff are helpful. 😀

I particularly like the café, the cosy seats, and the well-arranged study space. 👍

Hope that I can visit the Senate House Library again! 💃🏻🌟

So I've been to quite a few libraries in London over the past three years as a grad student, but the SHL is hands down the best one. I use it almost every day and it's been an absolute pleasure. They've got this awesome perk where you can borrow a laptop for free, plus they've got an incredible selection of books - they even have some rare editions that are sometimes even better than what you'd find at the British Library. And if you're looking for a comfy spot to work, they've got this super fancy leather sofa room.

Best of all, the staff there are really nice and patient. They've made my research life so much easier. I've already told all my buddies about the SHL and will definitely keep recommending it to anyone who asks!
