The rudest receptionist I've seen here. I was lost in the building, so I came to ask her for help. I approached her politely, and all she said was "What do you need?". She didn't even try to look at me, and she kept being ignorant despite my questions. Sadly I was in the correct building, but she pointed me to a wrong address again. It was quite funny because I had to keep running around the building thanks to her dedicated work.

A lot of nostalgia here – took the opportunity to have a wander around Bloomsbury. Senate House and the University London in the tower were where I spent a lot of my time 20 years ago.
This is a special building – Holden designed I think – it has retained a lot of its original architectural features and charm. You see it a lot in films.
I love how unchanged some of it is – with SSEES still carved above the door of the wing they vacated in 2005.
The platform thing outside was a bit strange – some sort of film viewing area. Not offensive though, I can see it getting quite popular some days.

Nice place to study, decent cafe, limited options on hot food and vegetarian selection

It's a well secured building.
