Food was really good; classic Cantonese cuisine. Everything we ordered was tasty, and my fave was definitely the sweet and sour pork. It was sooo crispy (but wasn't a fan of the blueberries. That was weird). I also really liked the deep fried whiting fish (not exactly sure what the menu item was called) but it was delicious and I never had fish that way before. They also give you complimentary tong sui which is always yummy :)
The boss kept pushing me to order his crab without telling me the price. He showed me two crabs that looked cold and cooked a day ago. I was put off by that.
The servers were talking louder than patrons. All patrons looked stressed and uncomfortable.

Worth trying once, but probably not more. Crispy chicken doesn't smell good, really crispy though. Stir fried seafood/vegetables was good.
The tea which is served with the food is relaxing and tastes good.

Chef 88 is still as good as before, and they also have karaoke in the private room, which is very nice for group and family gatherings, we came to celebrate birthdays, everyone had a great time singing eating and chatting.

Came across this place on Google Maps and decided to come here for my dad's birthday. We made a reservation for 6:30pm on a Saturday for 12 people (including one toddler and 2 kids) fairly easily, the morning of. Parking is a bit of pain since it's pretty limited (there are more spots in the back) and the place itself is a little smaller than most Chinese restaurants. They split the dining areas in two though - one of them is in the back.

We ordered the $399 meal for 10 people (you don't even see prices like this anymore, it's usually at least $60-100 per person for combo meals at other restaurants), which included fish maw soup, lots of veggies, chicken, fried rice, e-fu noodles, fish, beef, and 5lb lobster. All the dishes were REALLY large in terms of portion sizes, so for the price it's really a steal. We had leftovers enough for everyone to take 2 boxes home! Not only that, but food quality and taste is actually really good. The service was actually also really great considering how busy it was and for a Chinese restaurant. I can't believe I came across this place by chance - it's truly a hidden gem!!

They had us in the back which is through a maze like corridor. There was a 3 table party happening so it was insanely noisy so we couldn't barely talk or hear anything. Made for a unpleasant social because we couldn't really chat with the visiting family members at all. Food was decent and the staff were really quick up clear dishes away. They give you a complimentary soup and dessert which was good. But I don't think I'd go back anytime soon because it's not easy to relax and enjoy the company of the people you go there with.

Good food, nice service team, and relaxed atmosphere - what more can you ask for in an Asian restaurant. Always check most recent reviews as food has evolved.

A go to for Cantonese Cuisine for lunch, dinner, or takeaway. They know how to prepare seafood properly. The chef may have changed because more MSG I felt added to the chicken and jellyfish dish when I went again.

Chicken and jellyfish :)
Braised pork belly
Seafood fried rice

We ordered several dishes. Price range is usually $15 - $30 per person if you include seafood dishes
