Ordered delivery of American chopsuey. It was delivered piping hot and with amazing taste. However the quantity of family size was quite less (1-2 person) and they forgot to put egg in their as well.

Went there with a family of 3. There was no one to open/hold the (heavy) door, had an infant and elderly with me. Acceptable and not a big issue.

1) As soon as we entered, we were given a number of seating options,
2) The ambience was lovely, with satisfactory temperature.
3) The staff was quite welcoming.
4) Were immediately served with crackers. 10/10
5) Ordered dynamite prawns and schezwan soup in starters, the prawns (4 pieces) themselves were quite small as compared to the thick coating, the sauce was half wasted on the paper placed on the plate. 8/10
6) Schezwan soup was quite good. 10/10
7) Ordered vegetable rice, chicken schezwan gravy and mixed chowmein. Vegetable rice were satisfactory. 10/10
8) Chicken schezwan was good. 10/10
9) Mixed chowmein was way too bland. 6/10
10) Ordered blue lagoon and lychee daiquiri drinks, asked them to parcel the leftover drinks in which they added more. Kudos.
11) The card discount offers were told by the staff without even asking. Liked that!
12) Valet parking is also available.

Loved the food, amazing as usual! We ordered white hot n sour soup, chicken corn soup, chicken chowmein and chicken manchurian with egg fried rice.

Ginsoy is a famous name in restaurants of Karachi, especially for Chinese food lovers. They have multiple branches in Karachi and this one is located near Disco Bakery, Gulshan e Iqbal.

I tried this one for the first time with my family for dinner. I found the restaurant congested with limited space and full of tables. It feels inconvenient to have a meal when other diners and the staff are walking around.

The food is ok but service is not excellent at all. You need to call the waiter every time for little things. Food is expensive but not extraordinary as compared to the prices.

Recently visited Ginsoy Gulshan-e-Iqbal branch with a group of 11 people and had a great experience. The restaurant had a comfortable ambiance, and the service was exceptional.

What did we order?

1 Hot and Sour Soup,
2 Schezwan Dumplings,
2 Black Pepper Beef
2 Cherry Chili Chicken
3 Egg Fried Rice

All items were family sized servings and tasted delicious except fried rice which were okay ish.

The total bill was around 15000/- after availing an additional 10% bank discount.

Food - 8/10
Service - 9/10
Ambiance - 8/10

It was nice environment to have lunch with colleagues. Everything was amazing in taste and he we had wonderful experience. Only shocking part was price of 'Mint Lemonade', Rs 510 for that drink is quite pricey for me. Overall, we had had amazing experience

Pathetic Food quality I ordered Chicken Fried rice, Chicken Corn Soup, Fish n Chips, Chicken Schwan and Prawn chilli dry. Everything was served cold except soup but it was sweet crackers served with it were full of oil pic attached. There was just a thin layer of fish even crumbs were more thick pic attached. I ordered Chicken Schwan light spicy but service too much spicy. Cutting whole story short damage was 5500 of that quality of food is unacceptable so didn't recommend anyone to go there and drain their hard earned money... Even all people sitting on other tables have almost same issue particularly about the cold food.
