Quarters Korean BBQ

One of my favorite Korean BBQ in the area! Came here late Saturday night around 11pm and it was packed!!! Had to wait about 45 mins for a table for 2.

Highly recommend the Premium Marinated Beef Bone-In Short Rib!!! The Beef Brisket is good too! They give a decent amount of banchans (complimentary sides) and the Steamed Egg Soup was really good.

Everything is so Delicious here, have been coming to this place for a years. Definitely recommend for every any occasions. Recommend to try their appetizers, beef and pork. Even my vegan friends were able to find items for them.

Quarters uses Resy Reservation (They block certain times on purpose- downside), was initially told the wait would be 45 mins but when the server asked our preference (inside or out), we were open to both and the wait changed from 45 to 2 mins. The Banchan was already at the table – kimchi, salad, green onion salad, rice paper, radish kimchi, sweet potato, tofu, broccoli, steamed egg and rice (need to ask for it) Ordered combo #2; beef belly, boneless short ribs, grilled bulgogi and pork jowl. This really does serve 2-3 people, if you are bigger party getting the large makes sense you are only pay $51 per person with tax and tip vs what we paid which was $62 each total $124 for both of us. I was surprised they put cheese in a tin cup and added it to the grill but quickly became a fan of the fondue, it was addicting!! Our server Crystal was very fast and friendly, I don’t think we ever picked up any of the cooking tools, they do it all for you! They do cook at a fast pace – Just remember you are also paying for the ambience so, if need be, tell them to slow it down =)

I decided to try Quarters Korean BBQ based on a friend's recommendation, as he had a good experience before. However, after this meal, he declared that he won't be coming back.

Having worked in a Japanese Steak House, I believe I know a little bit about steaks, and to be fair, the quality of Quarters' meat was decent.

However, the service left much to be desired. Our server seemed rushed and did little beyond taking orders. He was more of an 'order receiver' than a server.

There was another person, presumably in charge of cutting meat, who came and tossed the meat around without offering any information. While beef can be cooked to medium, we ordered a Large combo that included pork. A simple confirmation would have been appreciated.

The cheese dipping was placed on the corner of the skewer without any explanation. We had to figure it out ourselves.

Should I keep going?

Our table was located near the door, and it was never closed. Consequently, cold winds blew directly onto our table throughout the entire meal. The smoke from the grill also blew into our faces, making the experience quite unpleasant.

Even before we finished our meat, the server cleared away all the food and asked if we wanted anything else. I was still eating!

The music was terrible – too loud, and it seemed like the exhaust hood wasn't working. Be ready to check your lungs after a meal here.

To summarize, The food at Quarters Korean BBQ was decent, but unfortunately, the service was terrible, and the atmosphere was unbelievably wrong, I will never come back again!

There are a ton of KBBQ places in the area but I find myself coming back to quarters time after time. They have some of the more superior bonchon side dishes that will always be ready at your table when you sit, the meat is consistent quality and they have a quite the variety. It is called quarters because you can order most of the meats by the 1/4 lb allowing you to tray a variety of dishes. Don’t worry about cooking your own meats here, your waiter will do all the cooking and ask you you preferred cooking temperatures. Full bar and decent soju selection!

My favorite kbbq spot in town. High quality food with competitive prices. Always a line but worth the wait.

Staff here are all professional and efficient. However, they are not as friendly and attentive. Which is understandable because they are extremely busy. They’ll help with fulfilling the order and cook the meat. Any requests other than these may not be accommodated.

Now serving wagyu meat, one more reason to go!

Saturday night - super long wait. We got boba tea next door while waiting. Parking is $20 and always full. We were lucky to find free street parking 2 blocks away after driving around.
The food was pretty good. We ordered combo #2 and had plenty of food for 3. I especially liked the boneless short ribs, so juicy. Service was good too, they cooked the meat for us.
